ISTSS Student Group
Welcome to the Student Section of the International Society for
Traumatic Stress. As a student member, you have the opportunity to
enhance your knowledge of research and training in trauma and become
involved in ISTSS. The Web site includes a list of trauma training sites
as well as additional resources, links and information to help you in
your current and future training in the field of trauma.
If you are not yet a member of ISTSS, read about the benefits of

Membership in ISTSS includes a subscription to the Journal of
Traumatic Stress, the peer-reviewed bimonthly journal of ISTSS, and
Traumatic StressPoints, a quarterly newsletter with new
developments in the field and the latest news associated with the
society.
As a student member, you receive the following benefits:
- Reduced registration fees for the ISTSS annual conference, where you
will find opportunities to learn from senior researchers and
professionals in the field and to network.
- Access to a student listserv, where student members can post
questions, provide information and communicate with peers who share
similar interests.
- Access to recently developed section of the student Web site, which
contains helpful links, relevant articles, training manuals and
workbooks, as well as a training site database with information on
graduate programs, research opportunities, internships and postdoctoral
programs pertaining to trauma.
