Prof Jana (Darejan) Javakhishvili from Georgia is a clinical psychologist and professor at the School of Arts and Science at Ilia State University, director of the Institute of Addiction Studies and the current President of the European Society of Traumatic Stress Studies (ESTSS). She facilitates mental health reforms in Georgia and in a number of other formerly Soviet countries (Ukraine, Kyrgyzstan, etc.).
