Global Collaboration

View full descriptionHide full description

The ISTSS Global Collaboration is a team of researchers and clinicians from around the world who are currently focused on developing internet-based resources to support resilience and recovery in adult survivors of childhood abuse, neglect, and other adverse childhood experiences globally. The Global Collaboration includes representatives from different regions including Asia, Africa, Europe, North and South America and Australia.

We are currently investigating the use of a novel online survey methodology to assessing childhood trauma history called the Childhood Attachment and Relational Trauma Screen (CARTS) in several different languages and cultures. We have also developed user-friendly information about what is childhood trauma, what are some of the effects of childhood trauma, what people can do to help themselves if they are experiencing longterm adverse effects of childhood trauma, and what people can do to get help from others.  For more information visit the I-CAN (Internet to adult survivors of Childhood Abuse and Neglect) information page.
