Combined Clinical and Research Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Trauma Center, Arbour Health System and Boston University School of Medicine
The Trauma Center is offering one combined clinical and research postdoctoral fellowship to begin summer/fall 2001. The 12-month stipend for the fellowship is $40,000 plus benefits, including health insurance. This fellow will participate in a 24-hour-per-week Clinical Postdoctoral Training Program at the Trauma Center. Direct patient contact will primarily take the form of intake evaluations and individual psychotherapy with traumatized individuals. Fellow will also hold a 30-hour-per-week position as Research Coordinator (RC) for the Research Department of the Trauma Center. Under the direction of Bessel van der Kolk, MD, this individual will assume responsibility for the coordination of an ongoing multiyear NIMH-funded treatment outcome study of PTSD.
