ISTSS Travel Grants Available

ISTSS offers a limited number of travel grants to support annual meeting attendees coming from developing countries and experiencing financial hardship with fees or travel costs. The travel grants are supported by voluntary contributions from ISTSS members.
Submit an Application
An ISTSS member must submit the application. Members may apply on behalf of individuals who are not members of the society. Grants will be awarded based on applications received by July 15, 2004. Individuals selected to receive a travel grant will be notified in writing by September 9, 2004.
The application form should include a statement of need that explains the impact or importance of the applicant attending this meeting, a current curriculum vitae, estimate of expenses to travel to the meeting in New Orleans and a letter of reference (optional). Make a Donation
You can make a donation to the Travel Grant Fund in one of three ways: 1) go to www.istss.org/meetings/travelgrant.htm and click on the “secure online donation form” link; 2) send a check in US funds to the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies (ISTSS), P.O. Box 71560, Chicago, IL 60694-1560 USA; or 3) fax your VISA, MasterCard or American Express card number, expiration date and contact information to 847-480-9282. Indicate clearly that this money is to be used solely for the Travel Grant Fund.
